The PLM Consultant (Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineer with M&O experiences) is responsible for Naval Architecture related issues on PLM implementation projects at customer side. Under the direction of the Manager internally or at customer side, Naval Architecture, Structural Engineering, Piping Design, HVAC, Outfitting etc. activities.  These responsibilities ensure that the goals and objectives of the PLM projects are accomplished within the prescribed implementation plans, schedules and budgets and that the work is in complete satisfaction of the customer requirements.
This role is also responsible for liaising with the customer to ensure that the implementation and go live of our 3DEXPERIENCE solutions (CATIA V5, CATIA V6) will work smoothly for customer satisfaction
Education and Experience
•    Degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineer or the equivalent
•    1 or more years post-secondary experience working in Naval Architecture & Ship Structural 
      Engineering or related project
•    Previous shipyard experience is an asset but not mandatory.

•    Advanced technical knowledge and engineering skills
•    Ability to understand customer processes and issues
•    Ability to learn new Software Applications such as 3DEXPERIENCE
•    Demonstrated effective leadership and influencing skills and practices.
•    Demonstrated ability to work independently to develop solutions to complex technical problems
•    Strong technical writing skills including the ability to produce and present clear, detailed written
      technical specifications, procedures, and reports
•    Working knowledge of 3DEXPERIENCE (CATIA V5, CATIA V6, ENOVIA) will be an advantage.
•    Good organizational skills including the ability to maintain organization in a changing
      environment, multi-task and establish priorities
•    Availability and willingness to travel to such locations and with such frequency as the employer
     determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.
•    Good interpersonal skills (German, English) or at least English
•    Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
•    Exercise sound judgments and make decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job
•    PC proficiency required.  Working knowledge of basic Microsoft Office software suite (Excel,
     Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
